We are Jenny and Molly, the Mother-Daughter team behind Adorn. We both grew up right here in Orleans and love having a shop in our hometown. We dreamt up Adorn in the Fall of 2014 while sitting across the street having lunch looking at the empty building we now reside in. After many tireless months we opened Adorn in May of 2015.  We have combined both of our creative energies and ideas and have truly created a unique environment for shoppers to enjoy.

Prior to opening our shop Jenny was running her own business as an interior and decorative painter. He knack for color shows when you walk into our shop and are welcomed by bright and cheerful colors. Jenny’s love for textiles and design has helped grow our home decor offerings over the years.

Molly has been making jewelry since her early high school years at Nauset and eventually went on to trade school to hone in her craft. Prior to opening Adorn she was doing local crafts shows, selling in other galleries and selling online. When opening Adorn we planned on incorporating Molly’s studio into the shop and it has become a great outlet for her work. When you pop into the shop she is usually right at her bench and you can take a peek at what she is working on. Molly has also curated a unique collection of other jewelers work in the shop that has helped us to stand out. You can follow her work here @mollyavellarjewelry

We fill Adorn with items we love including local fine Art (all of our painters are based in Orleans), home decor, textiles, accessories, greeting cards, ceramics, gifts, house plants, handcrafted jewelry and so much more. We support independent artists, designers and makers, many of whom are local to Cape Cod. We also feature a curated selection of fair trade goods including our customer favorite block print textiles and woven baskets.

If you haven’t been to our shop we invite you to stop in! You can find us in beautiful East Orleans on the way to Nauset Beach.
