Lunalite Teardrop Ring | Size 8.5

About the piece:
This ring features a beautiful piece of Lunalite.  I found this unique stone on my gem hunting trip in Tucson, AZ this winter.  Lunalite is a variety of silver sheen moonstone only found in one tiny spot in the world in Northern Australia alongside the Rainbow Lattice deposit. Sometimes the stone is found with a tiny amount of lattice locked inside like this one. The fawn marbling int he stone is an intergrowth of orthoclase feldspar giving a scenic moonscape, hence the name Lunalite "the light of the moon".
